The timeless vitality of Aristophanes’ theatre for a female utopia of peace.
The students of the Liceo Statale Giorgio Buchner will stage “Lisistrata”, a masterpiece by Aristophanes adapted and directed by Salvatore Ronga. This new work is part of the theatrical project with which the group of Platea, tutor Prof. Concetta Lauro, pursues its exploration of the classical repertoire to interpret the present and live the experience of the stage as a form of active citizenship.
The poster of the show is signed by the student Daniela Di Meglio that reviewed in an ironic way a famous manifesto of the war propaganda of the forties, become in time, with a singular semantic translation, an icon of the feminist battle.
