Wednesday, July 16, 2025 from 20.30 at Villa Arbusto, will be inaugurated the photographic exhibition “LE DE LUISE”, an event that celebrates the talent, sensitivity and artistic vision of two protagonists of the Ischia photography scene: Raffaella and Lucia De Luise.
A project strongly wanted by the Municipality of Lacco Ameno, which chose to pay tribute to two artists “equal and different”, as they are often called, sisters in life and art, deeply rooted in the local community. With this personal, also set up in the spaces of Villa Gingerò, it is intended to tell not only their photographic journey, but also the experiences, emotions and deep connection with the territory.
Curated by Massimo Ielasi, with the collaboration of Salvatore Basile, Bruno Macrì and the Georges Sadoul Circle, the exhibition is presented as a visual journey into the poetry of daily life, in the shadows and lights of the human soul, in familiar yet surprising glimpses.
The images exposed give an intimate and powerful look at reality, filtered through the lens of two artists able to transform photography into story, memory and introspection.
