GINO DI MEGLIO – NEL BIANCO NEL NERO

A tribute to an island artist who arrives at the (almost) monochromatic essentiality of black and white after a long creative journey that is mainly a research thought. An incessant study of the alchemy between light and matter, the real landscape of photography and the author’s imaginary abstraction.

DE ANGELIS

Four personalities for three generations of painters and sculptors who have brought prestige to the island of Ischia.

BOLIVAR

He is one of the most famous painters of Ischia.
Born in Forio in 1901, he moved away from his native land and then returned there in the 1950s.
He paints masterpieces first of expressionist and impressionist matrix, finally he dedicates himself to figurativism.
He died in 1981, leaving several works imbued with the essence of a tormented and restless soul.

DONNE…GRANDI DONNE

Four protagonists of a fruitful and happy period of the island of Ischia: the 50s of the twentieth century.
Courageous and modern women, tolerant, sensitive, independent, endowed with an unusual intellectual freedom.
